How do you get around?
Do the children/guests see you without your tail?
-
Once a mermaid is wearing her tail, she is unable to walk.
-
Party Arrival- Arrangements need to be made for the mermaid to arrive in secret. Once everyone is ready, the mermaid will need a few helping hands to either lift and move her to where the party will take place OR to create a distraction so that the mermaid can get to the necessary location on foot where she can then put on her tail without being seen.
-
Party Departure- At the end of an event, a great distraction is to have the children move to a different location for a group photo and then, the mermaid can sneak out unnoticed.
-
We never like to have guests/children see the mermaid change out of her tail as it dampens the magic and fantasy!
Can you do parties and events for adults too?
Yes! It is definitely a fun option to add a mermaid to a holiday party or adult gathering.

What are your teaching philosophies?
Through my research and experiences as a parent, educator, and behavior analyst, I have established the following philosophies, which I strive to impart on my students, my own children at home, and my party attendees. I have worked to infuse them throughout all aspects of my programming-
-
Each one of us is different. Each one of us is special. We each have different talents and different needs. Great things can happen when we come together as a community of neighbors and friends.
-
Despite our differences, we can all work together and care for one another.
-
We all face challenges. We can use our own brains and bodies to problem solve, to utilize tools and accommodations to help ourselves.
-
Despite our differences, we all have feelings and emotions. Our feelings are important. It is important to talk about our feelings.
My event programming is flexible. I am always open to new ideas!
