Your Mermaid!
Rose gold hair? Green sparkly tail?... You can specify how you would like your mermaid to look! Mermaids can often change the color of their hair or fins depending on their mood, their surroundings, etc. Check out our options and let us know what you think! You can even decide if you want your mermaid to arrive with feet!
Meet & Greet
Photo Opportunity
You met a REAL mermaid?! Then, you had better get some photo evidence! A photo makes a great keepsake of the opportunity to meet a mermaid! We offer an individual photo opportunity for each child along with a meet and greet. Items can be added to this meet & greet such as, Mermaid Makeup or glitter tattoos, for example!
Read Aloud & Craft
You can choose a read aloud with a craft or a stand alone read aloud/ craft or another activity altogether. The opportunities are as deep as the ocean! If you can dream it, you can do it! We offer a variety of read alouds focusing on topics such as emotional regulation, kindness, growth mindset, etc.

How Mermaids & Me, LLC came to be...
Hello Parents, Caregivers, & Family Members!
This little blurb is to tell you more about myself without taking time away from the children and their fantasy of meeting a real life mermaid. My “human” name is Toni Veteri-Muntz and besides wearing a mermaid tail, I happily wear many “hats”!

I am an educator- specifically, a special education teacher. I have been teaching children in grades K through 12 of all different ability levels for over 20 years.

I am dual-certified in special education as well as elementary education.

I am a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which I earned in 2016.

I am a wife and mother to my two beautiful children: my 3-year old daughter and my 6-year old son.

I have loved mermaids since I was a child. Once I discovered swimmable mermaid tails as an adult, I wanted to combine my love of mermaids, literacy, and children. As a result, I created Mermaids & Me, LLC!

Mermaids & Me, LLC gives me the freedom to be creative while spending time with children.

Everybody needs a mermaid! I am happy to make appearances at birthday parties, community events,... plan and run story times and crafts for children,... educate children on self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and celebrating our differences while also coming together as a community of neighbors who are kind to each other.
